In this short mini course you’ll be presented with some concepts, thoughts, and ideas that might help to get a better grip on learning how to master the guitar. Some of these things are very obvious yet most of us fail to implement them while we are studying.
In my 20+ years of teaching children to adults how to play guitar I have always asked the question: “How did you study it?”. Trying to learn something is of course great but HOW we learn something might be more important. Suppose someone would tell you that it takes them 30 minutes to go from A to B and you know that it takes you 10 minutes. Wouldn’t you ask that person “How do you go from A to B”? Most times the answer is so simple. They didn’t know which bus to take, they didn’t know about a short cut, etc.
The same thing goes when we are learning. Some of us are so quick to understand things. Maybe some of them are smarter, but perhaps sometimes they’re simply learning in a smarter way. It is a skill that we can all develop to get the most out of our time we put into these things.
